So being rather displeased that I forgot what time of the year it is, being too busy with work, moving offices and other sillinessness, BUT I fully intend to make the best of the rest of the week of *drum roll* WINTER-EEN-MAS!
"Winter-what?" I hear you say. As taken from the website (my poor uneducated newb) :
Each day I will be celebrating by having fun and playing games, thanking a gaming company for the joy they've brought to my life, and encouraging others to do the same.
This is the 3rd day of Witner-een-mas and I'm only getting to gaming today (blashemy!) Tonight, it will be WURM online. Because I love it. And some Wii resort fun with my partner in crime I think.
And I want to thank BioWare for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours of glorious joy! Of stories that I got so caught up in, characters I fell in love with, wondrous battles with magic and swords and axes and bows and arrows... For the tears, for the laughs, for the nail biting action, for the betrayel and making me fall in love with a paladin (and switching my alignment...). For RANGERS AND HAMSTERS EVERYWHERE!!!!! For licking a lamppost in the winter with Alistair... (rawr) For love... And for all the good times still to come. Thank you
Happy Winter-een-mas all you gamers! Go and GAME!

Winter-een-mas is a holiday of sorts. More specifically, it is a celebration of video games and the people that play them. Video games allow us to do things, go places, see stuff, that we couldn't do in real life. They can be an escape from reality, a release after a long day, a fun activity with friends, or just an enjoyable way to pass time. They give us a lot of entertainment. So why shouldn't they be celebrated?
